I. General Sales and Conditions
A. Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an order confirmation (electronic or otherwise) only acknowledges that we have received your request; it does not constitute acceptance of your order or a commitment to sell. Reptile Rapture retains the right to reject any order, limit the quantity of any item ordered, or cancel an order at any time after receipt for any cause.
B. Typographical and Pricing Errors
If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or supplier error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order, regardless of whether it has been confirmed or charged. We aim to ship all items in your order together. If items are out-of-stock, they will be shipped separately as they become available. III. Live Animal Sales and Guarantee

B. In-Store and Post-Shipment Responsibility
- In-Store: Once a purchased animal leaves our premises, we are no longer responsible for its continued health. No animal refunds or exchanges are permitted.
- Shipping: Your responsibility for the animal’s continued health begins once it has been confirmed that you have picked up the animal from the FedEx Ship Center.
C. Deposits and Holds
- Deposits made to hold a specific animal are non-refundable but are transferable to any other available animal.
- Amphibians and Lizards: Can be held with a deposit for up to one week.
- Snakes: Can be held longer, but you will be charged for the cost of its feedings until final pick-up.
D. Live Animal Shipping & Handling
- Requirement for Guarantee: To qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee, the order must be picked up at a FedEx Ship Center (not a standard residential address). We will assist in locating the nearest center.
- Shipping Schedule: Animals ship Priority Overnight Monday through Thursday, depending on weather.
- Temperature Restrictions: Amphibians and invertebrates require night temperatures to be above 30°F for shipping to be available.
- Packaging: Shipped in Styrofoam-insulated boxes with heat packs or Cryo/cold packs added as necessary for the specific animal and weather conditions.
- Flat Rate: For packages under six pounds, the flat rate is $65.00. Additional fees will apply for larger adult animals (e.g., Iguanas, Snakes, Tortoises, Monitors, Tegus). You will be quoted for any additional charges in your confirmation email.
E. D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival) Claim Procedure
- Immediate Notification: You must contact us (phone or email) immediately—within 1–3 hours of arrival at your home—or the guarantee is void. If you cannot reach us by phone, send an email to info@rapturereptiles.com.
- Acclimation Protocol: Do not open the animal package in your vehicle. Allow the animal to acclimate slowly to room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour before introducing it to its new enclosure. Do not place the animal under direct heat immediately as this could cause shock.
- Proof and Resolution: If the animal is confirmed D.O.A. and all protocols were followed, you will receive store credit equal to the purchase price of the animal only. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

IV. Reptile Rapture Rescue
- Mission: We rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned, and/or injured reptiles and place them up for adoption into qualified homes.
- Adoption Requirements: We will deny adoption if you are unwilling to provide proof of proper husbandry and continued care. Supplies do not need to be purchased from us.
- Sex Disclosure: We will not divulge the sex of rescued animals until they are adopted. These animals are rehabilitated and are not sold as breeding stock.
- Surrender: There is no surrender fee. Please inquire via phone or email for any large animal to reserve a spot.
