Iguana Delicatissima 2024, Lesser Antillean

Hatched 2024 , Iguana delicatissima also known as Lesser Antillean iguana are extremely rare species, they are vegetarian, smaller in size, arboreal and social. Babies hatch bright green color and with age they transition into olive-grey solid color adults with peachy-pink head and unique head crown scales. Pure Iguana delicatissima has no stripes on body or tail. Adults are about 12-16” STV plus 3’ tail, so entire iguana will be close to 4’ long. They love heights and develop strong bonds with care takers and each other. These species are not aggressive and don’t have tendency to bite, but they are shy as juveniles.
